The more you swing away
from someone, something,
the less likely you’ll say
”I’m sorry” or “Just like me.”
What can be more dangerous
than an action out of spite
to a loved one, a relative,
whether wrong or right?
I’ve learned to honor those
who came before me. And
now, they beg for your love.
Like your eyes or nose,
whether agree or disagree,
we carry them with us,
healing legacy.
